中國書法系
教授：楊鎖強、楊曉萍
現有教師8人，其中教授2人、副教授4人、博士生導師1人、碩士生導師4人。
主要研究偏向：中國書法與傳統文化，書法生態，書法美學，金石書法等。
西安交通大学PP电子社会科学学院中國書法系由中国书法家协会照料、著名书法家钟明善教授主持筹建，2005年正式招收本科专业学生，2008年独立建系。现具有艺术学（书法偏向）学士学位、设计学（书法偏向）专业硕士学位授予权，招收哲学（美学偏向）博士研究生。
中國書法系秉持“根植傳統文化，理論與技法並重，以‘新文科’理念爲指引，多學科爲支撐，協同培養”的辦學理念，以書法與文化産業、書法與考古交织融合爲著力點，首倡“書法倫理與藝術生態”創作理念並貫穿于教學與實踐中，經過多年探索已形成鮮明特色。教師在承擔專業課程與全校通識類課程的講授事情之外，主持各級科研項目，發表論文、出书專著、參加重要賽事，取得豐碩的科研结果。2021年獲批“省級一流本科專業”建設點，2022年獲批“國家級一流本科專業”建設點，中國軟科排名爲A學科。團隊曾獲“陝西省優秀教學團隊”榮譽。
中國書法系旨在培养具有广博的文化知识素养，扎实的书法艺术理论和技术，能够在高等院校、企业及其他单元和部门从事书法创作、研究、教学、创意、流传等事情，人格健全、社会责任感强、视野宽广，能在未来书法相关领域起引领作用的复合型专业人才。
The Chinese Calligraphy Department

The currently total number of the teachers in the department is eight, with two professors, four associate professors, one doctoral tutor and four master tutors among the rest.
The Main Research Field: Chinese Calligraphy & Traditional Chinese Culture, Ecology Environment of Calligraphy, Calligraphy Aesthetics, Metal & Stone Calligraphy, etc.
Department of Chinese Calligraphy, School of Humanity &Social Science, Xi’an Jiaotong University was founded by Prof. Zhong Mingshan, a famous calligrapher and the former advisor of Chinese Calligrapher Association. In 2005, undergraduate students were formally enrolled, and the department was established independently in 2008. Now it has the right to grant a Bachelor Degree in Art (Calligraphy Direction) and a Master Degree in Design (Calligraphy Direction), as well as Ph. D. in Philosophy (Aesthetics Direction).
The Department upholds the concept that “rooting in traditional culture, attaching importance to both skill training and theory researching, guiding by the concept of 'New Liberal Arts', supporting by multiple disciplines and insisting the school concept of collaborative training“, with the intersection of calligraphy and cultural industry, calligraphy and archaeology as the focus. The creative concept of "Calligraphy Ethics & Art Ecology", which is initiated and runs through teaching and practicing, has formed distinctive characteristics after years of exploration. In addition to undertaking the teaching tasks that include professional courses and general courses, the teachers have presided over scientific research projects at all levels, published papers and monographs, participated in important competitions and had achieved fruitful results. The department was approved as “Provincial First-class Undergraduate Major” in 2021 and "National First-class Undergraduate Major" in 2022 and had achieved A Degree in China Soft Science Ranking. In 2014, the department was named Excellent Teaching Team of Shaanxi Province.
The Department of Chinese Calligraphy aims to cultivate students with a wide range of cultural insights, deep artistic quality and excellent professional theory and art skills, who are able to do art creating, researching， teaching， startling originality and communicating works in academic environment, enterprises and other departments. These compound professionals have a sound personality, strong sense of social responsibility and broad vision and can play a leading role in the future calligraphy related fields.
